Ho Chi Minh City – To mark the third birthday of Swordsman Online and the coming release of Phong Hoa Lien Thanh (Inter-Castle Wind and Fire), the new version of the game, this year, VinaGame has officially announced a new event – the composing contest for the main song of Swordsman Online.
The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens aged 18 or above. All contestants are required to make records of their creations and send them to the organization’s board for screening. A valid submission must include the music sheet, the melody, as well as the author’s biography (name, ID code, email) and present a match with the game’s content and style. Swordsman Online has been known as a success story of VinaGame for 3 years.
Applications should be submitted by March 30th 2008. Then the organization’s board will put them through the screening stage in which exceptional works are posted on volam website (at http://volam.zing.vn/) for public voting, starting April 2nd and closing April 16.
The awarding ceremony and the announcement of winners shall be held on April 19th. Awards include 01 Dell Vostro 1400 D73 laptop (First Prize) worth 15 million dong, 01 iPhone worth 10 million dong (Second Prize), 01 19-inch LCD Viewsonic monitor worth 5 million.
Swordsman Online has a proprietary right to all works submitted for the contest. Determination for winners shall partly rely upon the voting of the public including gamers and the final decision is the organization’s board’s.
