On March 16, 2008, the leading online game and service provider in Vietnam, VinaGame, organized a big entertainment event called VinaGame Day in the Mekong Delta province of Cantho (Gate A, Le Loi street, Ninh Kieu district, Cantho). All VinaGame’s online products were introduced that Day and a lot of visitors had opportunities to learn about them. VinaGame should be considered as a series of events regularly held all year round in 2008 and aimed at extending the company’s network of affiliated agents and internet cafés as well as directly giving users ‘real-touch’ experience of the products. Furthermore, through this event, VinaGame showed its willingness to listen to customers’ expectations and feedback so that it could improve product quality, making the products more and more perfect and well-qualified.
Over 13, 000: The number of visitors coming from Cantho and many other neighboring towns. The figure outnumbers that of 10,000 on the previous VinaGame Day held in Bien Hoa (Dong Nai) on January 5, 2008.
Over 500: The number of agents and internet cafés owners based in Mekong Delta came to the Day and attended the Customer Conference, in which these affiliated customers had chances to be acknowledged of VinaGame’s new products and enjoy lots of musical performances and comedies.
100: The total amount of Internet-connected specially configured laptops placed at all 9 pavilions and the main stage of the Day. Thanks to them visitors could directly ‘discover’ and try the online products of VinaGame. Laptops also helped with the mini game tournaments of Swordsman Online II, First Myth, Boom on the Day.
2,5 billion: The total expense of VinaGame Day in Cantho. The figure also stands for the total value of presents and awards given to luckiest customers of the promotion named ‘Celebrate Year of Rat – Receiving Billions of Joys’, including 10 motorbikes for 10 First Prize winners (each worth 40 million). The First Prizes were presented on the Day.
5 million dong + 100 Gold: The prestigious award for team TamQuoc, the Kien Giang-based champion of ‘Mekong Waves Roar’ Tournament held on the Day. It dedicated to the game First Myth. It is known that the Tournament lasted during March 2008 in many Southwest provinces of Vietnam such as Vinh Long, Kien Giang, Cantho.
10.000: The number of gift bags given to all visitors of the Day
500 million: The total expense for other tournaments held on the Day of Swordsman Online II, Boom, and many other interesting games.
