Ho Chi Minh City, October 31, 2008 – VinaGame has finally published the Free Edition of Swordsman Online 1 on November 5, 2008.
 

 

The free edition will be operated by two servers during the one-month Closed Beta stage. The Open Beta will follow from December 5, 2008. The free edition will maintain a separate existence from its mother Swordsman Online, but it will introduce some exclusive modifications. The game’s economy is still run by the circulation of in-game coins, yet they can not be transacted and can only be obtained by card tops-up. Furthermore, VinaGame will organize the “Tu Luyen Chau” (Pearl Alchemy), with which gamers can obtain multiple 4 EXP without spending too much time. Another event, “Truy tim Cam nang Hoang kim Than bi” (Hunt for Mysterious Golden Book), will give out a large quantity of in-game items and gold to successful seekers. Most specially, in this version, the game will provide for free many types of medicine to gamers who attend in SongJin combat. 

 

With the birth of this edition, Swordsman Online 1 wishes to deliver ever-improved services to Vietnamese gamer community and hopes that it will become a new playground for players to refresh and to show companionship with each other. Early players of the free edition have reported positive feedback in terms that it give them some reminiscent of the old days when they made their first steps ever into Swordsman Online.
